THE DEAL
House-sharing can be a great way to meet people and make friends, and what we offer is a one-stop shop so you can first feel at home and then get on with your life.
The way our houses are set up (with each person having a separate tenancy agreement with us) means everybody in the house is their own agent. So those who want to socialise in the dining and living rooms can, and when you need your own space, well that’s fine too.
We organise the services to the property and take care of any maintenance issues so you don’t have the hassle of searching for the best energy or broadband deals, no long waits on the phone to call centres and no searching for people to carry out the little jobs.
Sharing is great for the environment, too, because it’s an efficient use of the resource of bricks and mortar, and you’re often able to live in a better standard of property than if you lived on your own.
And as all bills are included in your rent, there are no quibbles about splitting costs when the gas or electricity bill needs paying. You’ll know exactly what your outgoings are every month makes it easier to balance your budget. Your rent covers all the utility bills (gas, electricity, water), council tax, wi-fi and broadband, communal TV license, a weekly cleaner for the communal areas and a regular gardener.
We let each room on an individual tenancy basis, normally for six months but in certain circumstances we may accept shorter tenancy arrangements. For those less sure about how long you’ll need to stay, your needs are catered for too: our standard tenancy agreement includes a break clause should you wish to leave before the end of the tenancy period.
Finally, rest assured, your deposit is lodged with the government-run scheme, the Deposit Protection Service, and is well protected.
So, you can afford to live in a great house, budget your finances, meet new friends, save some money, have someone else take care of all the hassle of running a property, and know that your landlords are both approachable and ethical in their approach… What are you waiting for?!
